Through ER Design, a new contact I have acquired, I began developing a Flash Header that would incorporate a site's navigation, images, and FLVs. The project took several revisions as the client continued to change their minds. Finally the end product was reached which you can view here: Flash Navigation. One of the tricks used in this Flash piece was creating a single swf file that would dynamically change based upon html variables that are passed in the site's html file. This way you only load one swf, but it's behavior will change based upon what variables are set on the html page.

cv704.com was way overdue for a complete overhaul. I took this project on as a personal site and handled the entire design and development process. I'm very pleased with the outcome and the client is ecstatic with the new design. More content will be added over time to beef up the pages, but the site is still quite pretty. cv704.com

After being flooded with projects, I finally got time to finish building my personal MySpace page. I designed it months ago, but other projects took precedence. The page is Flash-based for the Media section and then HTML coded for the Friend & Comment sections. The final design and build can be seen here: http://www.myspace.com/Brought_To_Life.

James Doran Company, a major real estate development company, has requested that a site for their Daniel Island development. I was given the designs for the web site and developed the site using mostly HTML and some PHP. This project gave me practice, as most sites do, in creating a website with as few tables as possible. CSS is always the way to go! http://www.danielislanddowntown.com.

Anne is one of my favorite clients. She offered me the job of constructing her new site for UtopiaMarketing.com, which she and one designer envisioned. The layout features a simplistic design that enables a site with rich content to feel clean and comfortable. After a few days of coding, this site was pushed live in hopes of attracting more business. http://www.utopiamarketing.com.

This freelance job turned out to be a simple development job. The site was already designed by Utopia Marketing, so my role was to build the site through HTML, XML, and PHP. The website, http://www.sandraericksen.com, was straightforward in its design. A clean portfolio of Sandra's interior design work is the result of this development project.

Zipit Wireless, once again in need of my services, has asked me to build them a Flash-based MySpace page to promote the Zipit 2. The final design and build can be seen here: http://www.myspace.com/ZipitWireless. I have never created a Flash-based MySpace page before, so this took some research on how to implement the Flash swf file into the MySpace template.

After much hard work of constructing with the hammer of Flash, CBrooks Hosting V2 is completed. You can visit the site at the following link: http://www.cbrookshosting.com/V2. This installment of CBrooks Hosting is 100% Flash driven. The desire for building this site was to improve my Flash-based skills and my understanding of the program.

A friend of mine named David Hilmer approached me about creating an online portfolio. After going over his needs and wants for the website I constructed the layout and took him the mockups. He suggested some color and background alterations and once updated the final site turned out great: http://www.davidhilmer.com This site is an invaluable tool that he uses to show companies his skills to gain freelance work and even a fulltime job.
(UPDATE - 03.05.2009)
This design has passed and I have developed a new site for DavidHilmer.com. Check it out!

A large resort based in Myrtle Beach, SC came to me wanting a website for their property owners. This site needed to display information that was relative to the resort and the surrounding areas to keep the owners of Sands Beach Club up-to-date on current events. After collaborating with the resort board members I constructed this site for them: http://www.sbcowners.com.
(UPDATE - 09.05.2008)
The resort was unable to keep the website up to date, so they discontinued the site.

Unaira asked me to give their site a new look. I took their present content and created a graphically pleasing experience. The number one thing their site lacked before I stepped in was color. The site was all black and white except for their logo. I took the green color from their logo and immersed their site in it. The final result can be seen here: http://www.unaira.com.

This is the website that started it all. I originally built this site while I was still in college to help display my work to new students and also prospective employers. I quickly found that by having this site my freelance opportunities increased greatly. Getting my name out there and showing the world what I was capable of doing helped me get my company off the ground. http://www.cbrookshosting.com/V1.

This site was developed so I could display my 3D artwork in 3DS and Maya. I originally thought 3D models and video game production was my career calling, but I discovered a knack for website development while making this site. Once I started, I just could not stop. I had found my passion. http://www.graphxanimationstudio.com.
